I spent two years teaching web design, HTML and CSS as an digital media adjunct professor at the Corcoran School of Art + Design in Georgetown, Washington DC from 2000-2002.
Since that teaching stint, I've taught various workshops, seminars and other digital media courses independently to corporate groups, audiences and privately to individuals on a 1:1 basis. This stint also includes teaching various web-related courses (since 2008) as an Adult Education instructor for my own local community in Jefferson County, West Virginia.
Online training workshops ... upcoming
I am in the process of developing, as time permits, various courses and workshops for use online in a variety of subjects related to social media, web design and blog management. This is a long term project so I'll update this information from time to time as developments take place.
Training services
If you are interested in having me train you or your team member(s) in any way, shape or form, think about what format will work best. I am open to any and all ideas but in general, my training services typically fall in two main buckets:
Corporate groups or staff (on-site)
There are some Washington DC-based locations where companies, associations and businesses can send staff or employees to learn more about digital marketing and desktop publishing. But for those employers who'd like to "import" a seasoned instructor into their own workplace to train a department, a small group or one staff member, I present an ideal choice and offering. I've developed courses and workshops for groups and topics of varying marketing subjects and would be happy to entertain a wide range of on-site educational opportunities for you and your team.
Private training
I also work 1:1 with Individuals seeking to further their knowledge in the digital marketing space. Those willing to open their minds to new schools of thought, ideas and who are seriously interested in expanding their tactical and strategic digital marketing horizons would be wonderful pupil candidates.
